There are many people that say that sports will bring school grades down because it deprives the student of time to work on the school work that needs to be done. Some say that in high school, girls do better in school if they play a sport. Some also say that boys in high school do worse in school if they play sports. There are so many mixed oppions about the subject. Scientest have done studies that say that boys in high school, do worse in school if they play a sport but do better in college if they play a sport. The opposite goes for the girls. They do better in high school but worse in college if they play a sport. Why is this? Well the reason for this is pretty simple. Girls in high school are much more mature then guys. They take the responsibility to finish all of there school work so they can succeed in both sports in school. Guys on the other hand get to raped up on sports and start to devote all their time to it and end up not completing the work for school. In college though, guys realize that they need to finish the work they have for school so they are able to play sports. Girls in college though give into the presure of not completing school work so they can succeed in sports. It is a simple cycle that both the sexes go through and come out about even. The effect sports have on school grades is even over time but at different stages in life, the effect is greater or less....
