'Mathematics is as creative an endeavor as the arts'.To most people Art and Math are exactly opposite of each other, for example people believe that Art is affected by the left side of the brain, whereas Math is affected by the right side of the brain. Then there is the fact that art is open to interpretation and Math is concrete and analytical. Math needs to be conveyed in a rigorous language it follows a mathematical procedure that contains proofs and review of other. An example of a mathematical process is that multiplying is always done before adding (BODMAS rule). However, on the other hand art is not as precise. There is not one way of doing art there are thousands of ways. Looking at history there are many different ways to create and draw art. In addition, the reviews of Art are more open to interpretation then when compared to math. And finally the two depend on vastly different thinking patterns. Despite these differences there lie some aspects that are similar to both these areas of knowledge, they both have a creative aspect of their own. Mathematicians usually consider their works as arts, and it is true because the vital creativity between making an equation and an art piece are the same and it is marvelous. They both contain the aspect of beauty too, and because beauty is in the eye of the beholder it seems different to different people. For a mathematician a simple equation to represent a complex process is beautiful, for example, Eulers math identity is considered a classic example of deep beautiful mathematics by almost all mathematicians , Three of the basic arithmetic operations occur exactly once each addition, multiplication, and exponentiation. The identity also links five fundamental mathematical constants e, , 0, 1 and I. And as for art as (www.tparents.orglibraryunificationbookseuthEuth07-02.htm) defines it Art is the activity of creating or appreciating beauty. For some people it may seem...
