Since the world began, religions have been an issue all over the world. I am going to use the wonderful experiences that I have this summer while visiting the churches. I will be able to show the similarities between the Greater Temple Church doctrine and the doctrine of my church, the Times Square Church. The first one is Pentecostal and the other is a non-denominational church. I will be able to show ministries similarity and compare the congregation doctrine and behaviors between the two churches.Visiting the different churches during this summer has been a wonderful lifetime experience. Within the many denominations it is hard to understand why there are so many religions. We all are worshiped one God in our own distinguished way. I visited many churches in the past among them are Pentecostal and the non-denominational which interest me because of their faith in the Holy Ghost power, speaking in another tongue and other thing that separate them from one another. According to the Merriam Webster dictionary, Pentecostal is Relating to, or belong to a Christian group that emphasizes the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority of the Bible. And non-denominational is Made for or used by people who belong to different religious group not restricted to a single denomination.Among the many churches I visited during class, Greater Refuge Temple cut my attention. The Church it is a Pentecostal Church operated as a member of the international Organization Church of Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. It was founded in 1919 by Robert C. Lawson. Lawson was called to ministry in 1914 and later started evangelizing. He was a very dedicated man. In 1914, When Lawson accepted the Lord he was baptized and received the Holy Ghost.
