Many students like to skip school during the week. It may be that the students do not like school and do not even bother to show up. Others may only skip one or two classes a day, depending on the class they do not feel like going to. In the other hand, there are some students who do not attend school because they are unable or some kind of emergency occurs in the family. The truth is that when students receive their grades, they are not very satisfied with what they receive. In other cases, some students are given the opportunity to make up missing assignments, but now, this has changed. It doesn't matter if the student makes up missing assignments, because the principal has announced a new policy. Ten absences a semester in any class will result in a grade of D or lower. I have to say I support this new policy since it will make students more responsible. Fist of all, students who do not attend school because they just don't feel like waking up and not going to school that day are not being responsible. Therefore, they should not get privileges they do not deserve. Also, it is not fair to those students who attend school everyday. If a student is not fulfilling hisher responsibilities the correct way, they should not be given the privilege of making up that day's assignment unless they present a reasonable excuse. Furthermore, it is obvious that this type of student does not really care about what the grade in that class will be and should not affect what they think about their grades. Secondly, if the case is that the student only misses one or two classes a day, and decides that they will now go somewhere else, its even worse.
