This video has reinforced my belief that the mind is stronger for someone who knows more languages. The video shows multiple families and their choices to send their children to a special school where the children are put in a different environment than other kids. They were exposed to different classroom with cultures and languages both from their family and any other culture that their parents would want them to learn. Durrell is an African American boy who is learning Mandarin for the future uncertainties. Kelly is a Chinese- American who is learning the language that her parents left behind to become more American and Julia is just trying to learn more.
