In Canada, no two parks are alike. Yoho national park is rated as the sixth highest visited national park in Canada, with an average of 550,832 annual visitors. Yoho National Park is a distinctive park located in the eastern mountains of BC, Canada near the Trans-Canadian Highway. The park is located at the exact coordinates of 51.4667 N, 116.5833 W, according to an atlas. The national park boasts huge glaciers, tall peaks, countless waterfalls, and its lake, Lake OHara is the UNESCO location of Burgess Shale. Being the location of Burgess Shale means that is has a large array of fossils. Yoho National Park has many human- nature interactions, it is located in a Coniferous Forest Biome, it has a unique climate, and it has a varying distinctive physical geography, which all affects the tourism of the park. The midsummer sun warms the exposed mountain slopes at higher elevations, triggering the emergence of a sea of wildflowers.
