Hermia is a beautiful woman and if she doesn't marry thenshe will either be a nun or killed. Egeus is pushing her into somethingshe doesn't want to do and that is wrong.Egeus is a concerned father and is really trying to save his daughterslife, but he wants her to get married to a person with higher class thenHermia's true love, Lysander. The dad isn't doing a good job in gettingher in the position that she is getting married with Thesus. Poor Egeusdoesn't know the plan that is boiling between Lysander and Hermia.Egeus seems to be getting Hermia married with high class rather thenher love. Lysander seems to have love only and some money, but that's not enough for him.
